Chris grew up in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Upon graduating from Siloam Springs High School, he attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello where he achieved a bachelor’s degree in communication and a bachelor’s degree in political science. He then attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where he achieved a master’s degree in applied communication. After graduation, Chris served as an instructor at both the University of Arkansas at Monticello and John Brown University.

Chris is a 6-time national speech and debate champion. After retiring from competition, Chris coached the 2016 Novice International Public Debate Champion at John Brown University. He served as the chair of the International Public Debate Association Governing Board during the 2017-18 academic year.

Chris went to law school at the University of Arkansas School of Law in Fayetteville, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He currently focuses his practice on business related litigation, real estate law, contracts, and general civil law.

Outside the office, Chris volunteers with various legal assistance organizations who focus on assisting low-income Arkansans.
